Hybrid Mattress FAQs
What is a Hybrid Mattress?
A hybrid mattress, sometimes called a combination mattress, uses memory foam and pocket springs to provide the optimal balance of comfort and support. Our award-winning eze™ hybrid mattresses have multiple layers and combine different mattress technologies.
- The top layer is a hypoallergenic soft knit fabric cover that stops dust mites and allergens from penetrating the surface,
- Our ezeCORE™ memory foam layer is a high-density layer that provides a stable core to prevent mattress sagging.
- Next is our MEMOReze™ memory foam layer, which is highly breathable for temperature regulation and contours to your body to provide needed support and pressure relief. If you choose our Cooleze™ mattresses, this layer will feature gel-infused memory foam mattress layers to provide superior cooling.
- Our fourth layer is the Pockeze™ spring system, which features pocket spring units for a highly resilient comfort layer.
- Finally, there is the anti-slip base cover, which keeps the mattress securely on your bed frame.
Are Hybrid Mattresses Good?
Hybrid mattresses are becoming one of the most popular types of mattresses. By combining the best parts of different mattress technologies, hybrid mattresses have become the ultimate way to get a restful night’s sleep. The main benefits of a hybrid mattress include:
- Supremely comfortable - our hybrid mattresses use memory foam layers and pocket springs for a luxurious feel you can’t get from other mattress types.
- Amazing support—the combination of memory foam and pocket springs provides targeted pressure relief, which can help with aches, pains, and general discomfort.
- Great temperature regulation - our memory foam layers are breathable and help dispel body heat. Our Cooleze™ gel-infused memory foam layers offer superior temperature regulation for the perfect cool night’s sleep.
- Perfect for couples and light sleepers - hybrid mattresses are less disruptive than traditional sprung mattresses and allow independent movement so your motion won’t be transferred to your partner.
- Easy to install—Our hybrid mattresses are delivered in a box, otherwise known as a rolled mattress. After unwrapping, they inflate back into shape, making installation incredibly easy.
Are Hybrid Mattresses Better Than Memory Foam?
Memory foam mattresses are among the most popular mattress types. They provide a soft sleeping surface that can mould your body. But if you prefer firmer support and superior temperature regulation, you will love our hybrid mattresses.
Hybrid mattresses use memory foam layers so you can still get that cloud-like contouring feeling. However, they also use pocket springs and gel-infused memory foam (with our Cooleze range) to provide the best balance of support and cool comfort.
